Principles Of Soil Dynamics
Soil mechanics is the branch of civil engineering that deals with the engineering properties and behavior of soil under stress. Theoritical and experimental studies in the area of soil mechanics have progressed at a very rapid pace. Most of these studies have been devoted to the determination of soil behavior under static load condition, in a broader sense, although the term load includes both static and dynamic loads.
